Underachiever Secrets is Internet entrepreneur Russell Brunson's latest product launch. For those who don't know of him, Brunson is a long time Internet Marketing businessman who specializes in creating Info Products for sale online in the Internet Marketing (I.M.) niche. A few of his other popular products include Dotcom Secrets, 20 Minute Payday, and The Dark Side of Dotcom Secrets. Brunson also spends time coaching several other successful online business owners.

The genesis of this latest launch began as a training program known as "The Underachiever Formula." It was originally designed and developed by another Internet entrepreneur, Ed Dale, who recruited promoter Frank Kern to help with its initial promotion several years ago using personal appearance workshops. The principles taught in the course have helped guide hundreds of Internet marketing hopefuls to attain success in the information marketing niche selling their own products using the Internet.

Eventually, as with all such products, "The Underachiever Formula" training program ran it’s course and was retired. After sitting dormant for several years, the training program was acquired by Brunson, who claims that Ed Dale's Underachiever course was the key to his own success at the beginning of his career as an Internet entrepreneur. Brunson has subsequently updated and modernized the course contents, putting his own touch on it, and has released it to the public once again under a slightly different name, Underachiever Secrets.

So much for the history and genesis of this program. It's sometimes helpful to understand how a product got its start, especially in the ever changing world of the Internet where so many products can be viewed as inferior rehashes of a previously successful product. But what most readers want to know is: Will this Underachiever Secrets method work? And if so, how?

Underachiever Secrets is based on sound business principles and a solid business model. So, from that perspective, it starts out going in the right direction. Unfortu- nately, like any sound business model today, it takes a good bit of hard work to create a sales process like the one shown in the course for any product promoted on the Internet to become successful. So, if you are unafraid of working to achieve a lasting income goal for yourself, this marketing and product creation training program may very well help you to make your first dollar using Internet marketing while it gradually blossoms into a full-time I.M. business.

Who is this product aimed at? Primarily speaking, it is aimed at Internet newcomers seeking to create their own business and marketing empire online. But secondarily, intermediate Internet marketers who are already involved in marketing online, and thus have some experience, but who want to branch out and learn about creating their own products to sell and market online. There is good and valuable information in Underachiever Secrets to satisfy both types of buyers.

Now that we know a little about this program's background, how does it stack up as a training program in itself? This review should help you to understand what this program is about, what decisions you will need to take along the way, and how you can get maximum value from it. We've done all the research to help you make an informed decision.

All this you can learn from reading the sales page. What you won't learn, though, is what other experienced marketers in the field really think about this product and whether or not they consider it useful. (You will find a few of these candid testimonies at the end of this review.) Although opinions differ, most everyone agrees that there is good and actionable information in Underachiever Secrets. Will it help everyone achieve their dreams? That depends on the diligence of the person to put the program into action and how badly they want to succeed.

What Underachiever Secrets will do is provide both the newcomer and the intermediate marketer with a viable business model to use to make money using Internet marketing. The information presented will save any aspiring Internet entrepreneur much time and frustration, helping them eliminate the trial and error failures on the way to being able to make serious income selling their own products online.

So, is Underachiever Secrets right for you? There is no simple answer to this question. What can be said is that if you already have some knowledge or experience selling products or services online, you may find that Underachiever Secrets can provide you with some new insights and ideas that may prove helpful in boosting your income. If you’re a raw beginner to the online retail arena, Underachiever Secrets may provide you with a viable way to begin implementing a proven business model that will allow you to begin making your first online income. In either case, though, if you are not willing to take action on the material, then this may not be something you wish to look into any further.

What we can say with regard to the upsells that the potential purchaser is presented with during the selling process is that they are not worth the extra expense. There's no need to purchase any of the upsells, in other words. You are given everything you really need to work with in the main program.

The first OTO (One Time Offer) is called "Instant UnderAchievers." This offer is priced at a one time fee of $97.00 for the first month with a monthly fee of $47.00 per month thereafter. Instant Underachievers consists of 142 niche e-book products including a pre-written sales letter for each e-book. The e-books are "drip fed" to you at a rate of one book of your choice per week. The problem with this Offer is that the ebooks you purchase through this monthly service have been around the Internet for several years now and as such may not be in much demand in the current marketplace. Better to pass on this offer than to get horse-collared by this albatross.

The second OTO is titled “Mr and Mrs X” and consists of five mp3 audio recordings, and 6 hours of video recordings. Mr and Mrs X is a one off fee of $297.00. The video series is 6 hours of video recorded at a 3 day training workshop at Dot Com Secrets headquarters. The mp3 training series are one hour and 48 minutes of UnderAchiever course training calls. Each call features a guest who tells their story of success by utilizing Underachiever theories. While these video and audio recordings may be interesting and provide some needed inspiration to the user, they are an added financial weight and expense that might be better passed on.

The following are brief excerpts of how other Internet marketers in the field view this product:

"If you haven't bought any of Brunson's stuff before, then get this. As much as I hate RB's spammy tactics and over-hyped sales pages, I have built a $20,000 a month business off of his teachings, and so have a lot of other people. More than anyone else, the stuff he teaches made me money online."  — Russ R., Warrior forum member

"Basically, this is a rehash of 6-7 year old product [by Ed Dale and Frank Kern]. If you know nothing about creating niche products, this might be of use to you, but $47 is a little high imho." — Black Hat Cat, Warrior forum member

"Go for it. Its 114 pages and I'll admit, most of it wasn't new to me, until the very end. It really is a full course that's for sure. It didn't leave anything out and I can honestly say I don't feel cheated by not purchasing the upsell material. For $47 bucks I say go for it." — Ryan, Warrior forum member

"It is very similar to his release of 20 Minute Payday. I think both 20 Minute Payday and Underachiever Secrets are very good products especially if you are looking to create your own niche product and don't know where to start, etc.... P.S. I also should add that you WILL NOT NEED THE UPSELLS if you do decide to get Underachiever Secrets." — Tim N.  Warrior forum member
